1. Voucher Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing vouchers from www.thinkforensic.co.uk. By purchasing a voucher, you agree to be bound by these terms with Think Forensic Ltd.

1. Voucher Booking

  • By purchasing a voucher from www.thinkforensic.co.uk, you enter into an agreement with Think Forensic Ltd.
  • If you purchase through a third-party website or agent, once your booking is confirmed with Think Forensic Ltd, your agreement is with us directly.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with our Terms & Conditions.
  • Vouchers must be booked and used before their expiry date.
  • We cannot extend third-party voucher expiry dates—please contact your original supplier for this.

2. Availability

·       Experience days only run on selected days, these are usually Saturdays throughout the year, however we do also run a select few on Fridays and Sundays.

  • Specific dates for experiences cannot be guaranteed.
  • We recommend booking at least 8 weeks in advance, due to limited capacity and demand, allowing sufficient time before voucher expiry.

3. Restrictions

  • Entry is not permitted for participants aged 14 and under due to the nature of the content and references to real crimes.
  • Participants aged 14–16 must be accompanied by a paying adult (18+).
  • It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure participants, particularly under-16s, are emotionally prepared for adult content relating to serious crimes.

4. Experience Descriptions

  • Our experience days follow a specific format, but content will very dependent on the presenters personal experience and specialism.
  • Images on our website, partner sites, or promotional materials are for illustration only; equipment and activities may differ on the day.

5. Voucher Validity

  • Vouchers purchased directly from our website are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (expiry date is printed on both e-vouchers and printed voucher).
  • Experiences must be booked and completed before expiry.
  • Direct vouchers may be extended for a £20 admin fee.
  • Third-party vouchers cannot be extended or honoured after expiry.

6. Cancellations

  • In rare cases, Think Forensic Ltd may need to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and rearrange a suitable date at no extra cost. We are not liable for additional costs (e.g. travel, accommodation).
  • Adverse Weather: Due to our rural location, severe weather may mean that we are unable to run an event safely. In such cases, a decision will be made by 7:00am on the day of the event, and you will be notified by email if the event is cancelled. A new date will be offered free of charge. Think Forensic Ltd will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred as a result of adverse weather cancellations.
  • If you cancel:
    • Within 14 days of the experience: voucher is forfeited, no reschedule.
    • 15–30 days before: reschedule possible with £20 rebooking fee.
    • 31–45 days before: reschedule possible with £10 rebooking fee.
  • Vouchers purchased under special offers cannot be extended or rebooked.

7. Exchanges

  • Direct vouchers may be exchanged for an alternative experience of equal value, or upgraded by paying the difference.
  • If the chosen alternative is cheaper, we will issue an e-voucher for the balance towards a future purchase.
  • Expired vouchers cannot be exchanged.
  • Third-party vouchers must be exchanged directly with the supplier before booking with us.

8. Refunds

  • Vouchers purchased directly from our website are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for third-party vouchers are at the discretion of the supplier—please check their terms.

9. Safety & Insurance

  • Participation is at your own risk.
  • Think Forensic Ltd holds Public Liability Insurance but accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage, except where caused by our negligence.

10. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who is disruptive, insensitive, abusive, or under the influence of alcohol/drugs, without refund.

11. Accessibility & Special Requirements

  • Please contact us in advance if you have accessibility needs or special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate, though adjustments cannot be guaranteed.

12. Spectators

  • Spectators are not permitted due to limited space.

13. E-Vouchers & Postage

  • E-vouchers are emailed in PDF format during office hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm). Purchases outside these hours will be processed at the earliest opportunity.
  • E-vouchers are not subject to postage fees. Please print and bring a copy with you (for both direct and third-party vouchers).
  • Printed vouchers are sent via First Class Royal Mail. We are not liable for delays or lost mail.

14. Personal Data

We collect and store only the information necessary to process your booking, including:

  • Name
  • Contact details (email, phone)
  • Voucher details (number, expiry date)
  • Records of correspondence, bookings, and event attendance

We do not store payment details—these are processed securely by our third-party provider.

We may collect technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type) to improve our website. We may also contact you via social media if you interact with us on those platforms.

15. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

16. Complaints Procedure

  • If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please notify us in writing within 14 days of the event.
  • We will review your complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

17. Transfer of Vouchers

  • Vouchers may be transferred to another person, provided the recipient meets the eligibility requirements (e.g. age restrictions).
  • Once a voucher has been used to book an experience, it cannot be transferred.

18. Force Majeure

  • Think Forensic Ltd is not liable for failure or delay in providing an experience due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

20. Severability

  • If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
