Contact UsOur content can either be used to enhance the curriculum or we can tailor the content to be directly relevant to upcoming student assessments. We’re always incredibly happy when we can make the session fit the specific need so that the students get the most from their time with us, whether it be providing the right scenario, specialist staff or bringing along particular pieces of equipment to add to the experience.
In addition the the obvious curriculum links, our workshops can also be used to highlight:
-
Career opportunities
CSI, branches of forensics, police, criminal justice system and the law, pathology, geographic and criminal profiling, engineering.
-
Planning, communication and team working
As sessions are interactive, students must use their teamwork and communication skills. We find that over the course of the workshop, individuals grow in confidence and get a greater insight into what a future career in the industry could look like.
-
Personal development
We often work with groups that are studying a personal development course, which often include the following modules: driver safety, peer pressure, drink/drug driving, the law, first on scene, effects of crashes on individuals and the wider community.
-
Outreach work
It’s important for sixth forms, colleges and universities to build good relationships with their potential cohorts. We can provide an engaging introduction to what studying with you would be like.
Not only do we specialise in the above, but we can also tailor content to look in further detail at specific areas of crime, including fire investigation, crash investigation, consequence of crime, major incident tabletop planning and more.
